Helene took on the role of managing the training and development for a department of 40+ individuals. She created a curriculum tailored specifically to each team member and developed a number of workshops from scratch. As a transitional business coach, Helene partners with clients to help them manage change in their organizations or careers and in their personal lives. She works with mid-level professionals as well as those who are transitioning from academic to corporate settings.
Using a results-oriented approach, Helene builds coaching partnerships that focus on both the present situation and planning for the future. Clients learn to accomplish better results on their own and realize their true potential through improved communication, focus, and accountability.
She also develops and facilitates professional development curricula that enhance and expand skill sets, contributing to professional success and career advancement. Programs include individual and group corporate mentoring, executive shadowing, and leadership workshops.
Helene’s client-focused coaching practice evolved from expertise gained during a 20-year career in the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to her role as a corporate executive, she was instrumental in developing a 1-1 mentoring initiative that expanded into an organization-wide program. Additionally, as Chair of the Mentoring Committee she piloted a successful group mentoring initiative that reached all levels of the organization. Helene also worked with college graduates while serving as a preceptor for the Rutgers University Pharmacy Fellowship, and as the leader of a career development program designed to teach recent graduates various commercial aspects of the pharma industry.
Helene obtained her coaching credentials through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). She is also a Healthcare Businesswomen Association (HBA) Rising Star, leading individuals and teams to greater accomplishments by coaching, mentoring, empowering, and instilling commitment.
Prior to founding A.R.E. Coaching + Mentoring, Helene was the Senior Director of Market Research at a New Jersey-based global pharmaceutical company, providing business intelligence in support of new product development, life cycle management, and late-stage product launches. She holds a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision of the Educator/Trainer from Montclair State University, and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from William Paterson University.
